About The Position
The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab (RVC) is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians for its Groveport, OH facility. RVC is committed to helping individuals overcome substance use disorder through a comprehensive continuum of care, including detox, inpatient, and outpatient services. The facility offers a healing environment with first-rate amenities and a multidisciplinary care team focused on compassionate and high-quality treatment. Requirements
- Associate degree in a health-related field required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in BHT or similar patient care role preferred.
- In lieu of Associate degree, minimum two (2) years’ experience in BHT or similar patient care role required.
- Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards.
- CPR and Standard First Aid certification.

- Experience working with Children and Adolescent Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Observation and monitoring of patients in treatment.
- Reporting duties as indicated.
- Contributing to the welfare of the organization.
- Assisting patients in a variety of patient activities.
- Assisting in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Communicating and enforcing facility program rules and ensuring compliance in a firm but fair and professional manner.
- Communicating patient behavior with immediate supervisor and clinical team as appropriate.
- Addressing problem behaviors through verbal de-escalation techniques.
- Adhering to time schedules.
- Maintaining healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff.
- Ensuring that documentation is timely, consistent, clear, accurate, and legible.
- Keeping clinical records secure at all times.
