About The Position

The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper (RVCH) is seeking dynamic and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join their team. This facility offers a renowned approach to addiction recovery, combining evidence-based treatment with holistic programming. The 90-bed facility provides a full continuum of care, from detox to aftercare services, and includes a Weekly Recovery Compass program to address potential setbacks. RVCH is conveniently located in Cherry Hill, NJ, near Philadelphia.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years patient care experience OR; 1 year patient care experience + Associate's degree required.
• Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with adult patients (18+) preferred.
• Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services in roles with emphasis involving direct customer or client service experience, strongly preferred.
• CPR and Standard First Aid certification or in process of obtaining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observation and monitoring of patients in treatment and reporting duties.
• Assisting patients in a variety of patient activities.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Communicating and enforcing facility program rules in a firm, fair, and professional manner.
• Communicating patient behavior with immediate supervisor and clinical team.
• Addressing problem behaviors through verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Adhering to time schedules.
• Maintaining healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff.
• Ensuring documentation is timely, consistent, clear, accurate, and legible.
• Keeping clinical records secure at all times.
