About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to support the medical and clinical teams at its Prince Frederick residential facility. The role provides day-to-day operational support across admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phone coverage. The supervisor builds rapport with clients and helps create a warm, accepting recovery environment while monitoring clients and enforcing facility policies to maintain the safety of clients and staff. The supervisor records and escalates critical communications and incidents in a timely manner, completes administrative duties such as shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support, and oversees, trains, and supports the BHTs on the shift. The Prince Frederick location is a 93-bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to ensure the safety of clients and staff.
Record and escalate critical communications and incidents in a timely manner.
Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
Oversee all BHTs on the shift and provide training and support.
