Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor - Evening Shift
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor for the evening shift at its Prince Frederick residential facility. The facility provides drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services in a 93-bed setting. The supervisor provides day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, helps create a warm and accepting recovery environment, monitors clients and upholds facility policies, records and escalates critical communications and incidents, and completes shift-related administrative duties. The role also oversees, trains, and supports the Behavioral Health Technicians working on the shift.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
- If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
- Engage with clients and build rapport to create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
- Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to support the safety of clients and staff.
- Record and promptly escalate critical communications and incidents.
- Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
- Oversee, train, and support all Behavioral Health Technicians on the shift.
