About The Position
The Wilkinson Firm (TWF) places Behavioral Health Case Managers into Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) agencies, and community-based mental health programs across the Southeast. Case managers coordinate services across treatment teams, navigate benefits and resources, and advocate for clients.
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in community mental health, substance use treatment, IDD services, or comparable BH/HHS field
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
- QMHP or comparable state credential a plus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care across treatment teams (therapy, psychiatry, primary care)
- Help clients access benefits (Medicaid, SNAP, housing, transportation)
- Build and update treatment plans
- Advocate for clients with external systems
- Maintain documentation per state regs and HIPAA
