FT & PT - Behavioral Health Associates - All Shifts
About The Position
Belmont Behavioral Health System is seeking Behavioral Health Associates to support patients receiving treatment for mental health conditions and substance abuse problems. The role provides hands-on care and compassionate support in a structured, team-focused environment, helping keep patients safe and supporting their recovery. Associates work under clinical or nursing leadership in a professional setting alongside clinical and nursing leaders. Full-time and part-time positions are available across all shifts. Training and opportunities for skill development and career growth are offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required; training is provided upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience working with a similar patient population is preferred.
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members.
- Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety.
- Recognize and respond to patient needs, prioritizing safety.
