About The Position

The Bright Future Behavior Tutor provides behavior intervention services to students ages 3 to 5 who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in a center-based setting. The tutor works under the direct supervision of a Bright Future Behavior Consultant and primarily implements strategies, techniques, and interventions consistent with applied behavior analytic (ABA) principles. The role requires driving to various Bright Future center locations within Tulare County.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to drive to various Bright Future center locations within Tulare County.
• Submit an online application with all required documents scanned and attached before submission.
• Provide two letters of recommendation.
• Provide proof of high school graduation, such as a diploma or high school transcripts verifying the graduation date.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder in a home- or center-based program is preferred.
• An associate degree with an emphasis in education, psychology, or a related field is desired.
• Copies of college transcripts or degrees are preferred.
