Behavior Therapist, Pediatric ABA - Clinic-Based

Gracent•Woodridge, IL
•$19 - $23•Onsite

About The Position

Gracent Pediatric Therapy (NSPT) is hiring a clinic-based Behavior Therapist to provide individualized, assent-based and neuroaffirming support to autistic children. The role involves working one-on-one with children ages 2–12 to build communication, independence, social skills, and confidence for everyday life. Care is tailored to each child’s individuality and autonomy rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach or prioritizing compliance. This is an active, hands-on position. Behavior Therapists use play and daily activities to help children develop skills, support them through difficult moments with patience, and document their progress and session notes for BCBA review. They collaborate throughout the day with their team and work alongside occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health professionals. The clinic provides real-time coaching, mentorship, paid RBT training and certification during the first month, and a career-development path that can include RBT, leadership, or further clinical credentials. Starting pay is $19 per billable hour, with increases based on experience, education, and certification. Pay increases to $22.50 per hour after RBT certification. The role has flexible daytime start times of 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 1 p.m., or 3 p.m.; afternoon/evening availability starting at 3 p.m. and Saturday availability are required. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available to full-time team members.

  • Effective visual and auditory communication.
  • Availability for afternoon/evening shifts starting at 3 p.m. and Saturdays.
