About The Position

Gracent Pediatric Therapy is hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians for clinic-based pediatric ABA therapy in Naperville, Illinois. No prior clinical experience is required; training and mentorship are provided, along with paid RBT certification support. The role involves working one-to-one with autistic children ages 2–12, implementing therapy plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and providing consistent, supportive care across sessions. The organization practices assent-based, neuroaffirming care: therapists follow each child’s lead, respect their boundaries, and build trust while developing skills. Behavior Technicians work alongside occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health professionals in an interdisciplinary environment. The work involves spending most of the day with children and being physically active, including sitting on the floor, walking, and lifting up to 45 pounds. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday with an 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. start. Part-time schedules start at 3 p.m., require Saturdays, and include at least 15 hours per week. Pay starts at $19 per hour and increases to $22.50 per hour upon RBT certification, typically within the first month. Performance-based raises are offered every six months. Career paths include BT to RBT to Lead RBT, or an RBT-to-BCBA pathway with supervised hours and test-preparation support.
