Behavior Technician Paid Training Kids with Autism
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician (BT). This role is more than just a job; it's a calling to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism. We are looking for compassionate and resilient individuals who can connect with children at their level, patiently guide them, and celebrate their achievements. While prior experience is not required, we provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with the necessary skills to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a supportive clinical environment that emphasizes collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements
- Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliability, including consistent attendance and timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Resilience and compassion.
- Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
- Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds; sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and move quickly.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services.
- Experience with children is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 18 months to 6 years with autism, under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Utilize play, connection, and a supportive presence to build skills in children.
- Track client progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.
- Prepare for and obtain RBT certification within the first 45 days of employment.
