Cortica is seeking dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to deliver play-based, behavior-analytic care to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA model that builds on each child’s unique abilities and supports relationships and skills across home, school, and community settings. Cortica combines neuroscience and developmental models to support children’s growth. Technicians provide individual and group services, implement positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, document session data, and collaborate with families and supervisors. They work alongside professionals from fields including speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. The position includes a three-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training. Part-time roles are described as having five-day work schedules with morning and afternoon shifts, and there are opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays. The position requires travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation, and successful completion of a post-offer background check and motor vehicle report review.
