Cortica is hiring dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based ABA care to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role includes paid, in-person training and support from experienced clinical staff. Technicians work within a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming model focused on each child’s abilities and on building skills that transfer across home, school, and community settings. Cortica’s transdisciplinary approach brings Behavior Technicians into collaboration with families, clinicians, and professionals from fields including speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. The position offers a pay range of $23.62 to $31.69 per hour, based on experience and education. Schedules are described as predictable, with part-time options of five, three, or two days per week and opportunities to pick up additional Saturday hours. New hires receive a four-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and covered exam fees. Technicians are expected to obtain the BCAT credential within 90 days of their start date. Cortica provides ongoing training, coaching, and career development opportunities, including advancement to a BCBA role, progression on the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or movement into a corporate support role.
