Cortica is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based ABA services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. Technicians deliver individualized care using a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming model that builds on each child's abilities and supports skills and relationships across home, school, and community settings. The role includes one-to-one and group services, implementing positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, recording session data, and collaborating with families and supervisors. Technicians receive a two-week, in-person paid orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and coverage of exam fees. The position requires obtaining the BCAT credential within 90 days of starting and traveling between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation. Cortica describes a transdisciplinary and collaborative care approach involving families, clinicians, and professionals across fields such as speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. The organization offers ongoing professional development, coaching, and career advancement opportunities.
