About The Position

Cortica is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy model, building on each child’s abilities and supporting skills and relationships across home, school, and community settings. Care is informed by neuroscience and developmental models and delivered collaboratively with families and clinicians. Technicians provide one-to-one and group behavior-analytic services, implement positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, use evidence-based practices, and document session data to support treatment goals. They collaborate with families and supervisors, follow crisis protocols including de-escalation and mandated reporting, and travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius. The position offers paid, two-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training, ongoing professional development, and coaching from Lead Behavior Technicians, ABA Assistant Supervisors, and ABA Supervisors. Career development opportunities include advancement to a BCBA role, the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or corporate support roles. The advertised pay range is $20.87–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and education. Part-time schedules are available in five-, three-, or two-day-per-week options, with opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays.
