Cortica is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide life-changing care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy model that builds on each child’s abilities and supports skills and positive relationships across home, school, and community settings. Cortica’s approach combines neuroscience and developmental models and emphasizes individualized, collaborative care. Behavior Technicians provide one-to-one and group behavior-analytic services, implementing positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA. They track treatment goals through session documentation and work closely with families and supervisors to create supportive environments. The position also requires following crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting. The posting offers a predictable schedule and paid, two-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training. Candidates must be willing to obtain a BCAT credential within 90 days of starting; training is provided. The role involves driving within a 30–40-minute radius and requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
