Cortica is seeking dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide life-changing care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy model and combines neuroscience and developmental approaches to help children build abilities, relationships, and skills that generalize across home, school, and community settings. Technicians provide individual and group behavior-analytic services, carry out positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, document session data, and collaborate with families and supervisors. The role includes a fully paid, two-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training. Candidates must be willing to obtain a BCAT credential within 90 days of their start date. The position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation within a 30–40-minute driving radius, and successful completion of a post-offer background check and motor vehicle report review. Cortica describes a transdisciplinary, collaborative care model in which technicians work alongside families and clinicians, including experts in speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. The employer offers career development opportunities, including advancement to a BCBA role, the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or a corporate support position. The posting describes part-time schedule options and opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays.
