About The Position

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children and teens with autism. Behavior Technicians are part of therapy teams and provide personalized, one-on-one therapy in clinical, school, or home settings under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Paid training is provided to support earning Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to earn RBT certification within 45 days; training is provided.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
Love of working with children, strong communication skills, and commitment to integrity.

Nice To Haves

A degree in behavioral health, early childhood education, or a related field.
Experience working with children with autism.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Assist with challenging behaviors and provide a safe, supportive environment.
Collaborate with the BCBA to keep caregivers informed about the child's progress.
Complete session notes and timesheets.
Collect and record data on socially significant behaviors.
Use fun and engaging instructional materials to motivate learners.
