About The Position

Encompass Therapy Center is hiring experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a center or home-based setting. The role involves implementing Behavior Intervention Plans to decrease problem behaviors and skill-acquisition goals to increase socially appropriate behaviors. These plans and goals are designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This is a full-time, in-person position providing services in West Branch, Michigan, for 30–40 hours per week. The position has a set Monday–Friday schedule, with no weekends.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 30–40 pounds, run, and keep up with clients depending on their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality one-to-one ABA services to children with ASD, focusing on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills.
• Record objective daily data reflecting client progress toward goals.
• Maintain objective daily session notes.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Create a fun, interactive, and engaging environment for clients.
• Lift 30–40 pounds, run, and keep up with clients depending on their needs.
