About The Position

We are looking for a Behavior Technician (BT) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. This role is more than just a job; it's a calling to work with children, particularly those aged 18 months to 6 years diagnosed with autism. While prior experience is not required as we provide comprehensive training, a compassionate and dedicated individual is essential. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Full-time availability Monday-Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Reliability, including consistent attendance and timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Resilience and compassion.
  • Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly.

  • Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services.
  • Experience working with children.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), following individualized treatment plans.
  • Engage children in skill-building activities through play and connection, creating a safe environment for them to learn and grow.
  • Track and document session progress using ABA technology.
  • Maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.
  • Prepare for and obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 45 days of employment.
