About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to work with children aged 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism. This role is based in a center-based environment and involves delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate is patient, positive, and eager to celebrate small victories, as this role is about changing lives. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training and support will be provided, including paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Requirements

  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliability — showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks.
  • Resilience and compassion.
  • Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
  • Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services.
  • Experience with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans.
  • Build skills through play, connection, and creating a safe environment for children to try new things.
  • Track progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
  • Create a safe, positive environment for every child.
  • Prepare for RBT certification exam within the first 45 days of employment.
