Cortica is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based applied behavior analysis services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. Technicians deliver one-to-one and group services, implement positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, and use evidence-based practices to support meaningful progress for children and their families. The role includes documenting session data, collaborating with families and supervisors, and following crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting. The position offers part-time scheduling options of two, three, or five days per week, with opportunities to pick up additional Saturday hours. New hires receive a two-week in-person orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and payment of exam fees. Candidates must be willing to obtain the BCAT credential within 90 days of starting and travel reliably between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius. Cortica describes its approach as transdisciplinary, collaborative, strength-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. Behavior Technicians work with families and clinicians to develop individualized care plans and may collaborate with professionals in speech-language, music, occupational, and physical therapy, as well as counselors and medical practitioners. Career growth options include advancing to a BCBA role, progressing on the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or moving into a corporate support role.
