Cortica is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based applied behavior analysis services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach, building on each child's abilities and supporting skills and relationships across home, school, and community settings. Technicians work with families, supervisors, and clinicians to deliver individualized care, with opportunities to learn from professionals in fields including speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. Cortica provides a three-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and exam-fee coverage. Technicians are expected to obtain the BCAT credential within 90 days of starting. The position requires travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation, and successful completion of a post-offer background check and motor vehicle report review. Part-time schedules are offered in 5-, 3-, or 2-day-per-week options, with opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays.
