About The Position

Cortica is hiring dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to design and deliver care for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role provides play-based, strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy, helping children build on their unique abilities and develop relationships and skills that transfer across home, school, and community settings. Cortica’s approach combines neuroscience and developmental models and uses transdisciplinary collaboration to care for the whole child. Behavior Technicians provide one-to-one and group behavior-analytic services, implement positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, use evidence-based practices, document session data, and collaborate with families and supervisors. The position requires travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation. Candidates must complete a post-offer background check and motor vehicle report review. Cortica offers a predictable schedule and a single direct rate of pay. The posting describes part-time options of five, three, or two days per week, with opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays. Training includes a two-week, in-person orientation with hands-on instruction and ongoing professional development. The team provides coaching and opportunities for career growth, including advancement toward a BCBA role, the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or a corporate support role.
