About The Position

The Behavior Support Team Manager is a leadership role coordinating day program services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The role monitors service quality and health and safety, and schedules and manages Direct Support teams. The position is full-time, generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though hours can vary. Hiring is immediate.

Requirements

• At least six months of work experience providing care and support to adults with I/DD in the human services industry.
• Excellent decision-making skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in social services, rehabilitation, or business administration, or comparable years of progressive I/DD work experience.
• One year of supervisory and management work experience, including scheduling, leading, supervising, evaluating, and managing teams.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or one-quarter of the applicant’s body weight, whichever is less.
