About The Position

Community Options, Inc., a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states, is seeking a Behavior Support Manager in Butler, Pennsylvania. The role oversees the Butler, Indiana, and Washington regions. The manager uses best practices and technologies in a community setting to help individuals acquire, retain, improve, and generalize behavioral, self-help, socialization, relational, and communication skills, enhancing relationships and increasing independence and functioning. Starting pay is $70,000 per year.

Requirements

Master’s-level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, or sitting for the exam within 6 months.
Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports and with youth and their families.
Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations.
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Successful completion of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug-testing checks is required for employment.

Responsibilities

Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may decrease or vary throughout an individual's stay.
Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), including Functional Behavioral Assessments and development of Behavioral Support Plans.
Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as needed.
Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans.
Provide Positive Behavioral Supports.
Coordinate support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
