About The Position

Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states, is seeking a Behavior Support Manager in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The manager supports individuals in a community setting by using best practices and technologies to help them acquire, retain, improve, and generalize behavioral, self-help, socialization, relational, and communication skills. The goal is to enhance relationships and increase independence and functioning. This role oversees the Butler, Indiana, and Washington regions. Starting pay is $70,000 per year.

Requirements

Master’s-level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, or sitting for the exam within six months.
Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports and with youth and their families.
Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations.
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Successful completion of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug-testing checks is required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may decrease or vary throughout the stay.
Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis, including Functional Behavioral Assessment and development of a Behavioral Support Plan.
Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as needed.
Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans.
Provide Positive Behavioral Supports.
Coordinate support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team.
Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
