The Behavior Specialist supports site supervisors and instructors with student behavior analysis and ongoing monitoring of students who require support plans in order to sustain positive participation of these students in the program. The primary responsibility of the Behavior Specialist is to assist their Site Coordinator and site staff in assisting with day-to-day behavior issues with students enrolled in the after-school program. They work collaboratively with the site academic program supervisor (APS) and site supervisor in the development and implementation of individualized behavior support plans, as well as aid in the development of flexible schedules for students that need it. They work closely with the program staff to help train and assist in the development and implantation of individualized behavior support plans for students that need them. They will assist the Buena Park Titans After School Program and ensure that a high-quality after school program for children is consistently delivered to our students between TK-5th grade. Must be available to work five (5) days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:30PM-5:45PM; Thursday 12:00PM-5:45PM. Please be aware that funding for this position is awarded through a Grant/Contract over a specified period. Employment for this position beyond current Grant/Contract funding is contingent upon continued funding or new Grant/Contract.
