About The Position
California Behavioral Treatment Center provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. Behavior Interventionists deliver 1:1 ABA services in home, school, and community settings, working directly with clients to build communication, social, and self-help skills. They implement individualized behavior intervention plans under clinical supervision. The listed pay range is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education. Mileage is reimbursed per mile, and travel time between client locations is compensated. The role serves areas including the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a TB test.
- Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collect and record data on client progress.
- Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
- Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
