About The Position
California Behavioral Treatment Center is hiring Behavior Interventionists to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. The role involves working one-on-one with clients in home, school, and community settings to help them build communication, social, and self-help skills, while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. Hiring is throughout Los Angeles County, including Compton, Lynwood, South Gate, Bell, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, Walnut Park, Maywood, Paramount, Bellflower, Carson, and Wilmington. The position offers $20.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education, plus mileage reimbursement and compensation for drive time between client locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a TB test.
- Pass a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and adolescents.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collect and record data on client progress.
- Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
- Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
