About The Position

As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive. This active, hands-on role combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. The position is based at a school program site and has openings at Challenge to Excellence Academy and Global Village Academy for the 2026–2027 school year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet one of the following state requirements: 3 months (455 hours) of verifiable formal work experience with children over 4 years old, or an Early Childhood Professional Credential of Level 1 or higher.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities, stand, walk, and move throughout program hours, and occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Successful completion of required background screenings and licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.

• Lead enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.

• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Follow company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
