About The Position

The Beer & Wine Lead is an hourly lead position in the Beer & Wine Section. The role’s primary duties include ordering, stocking, pricing, rotation, merchandising, record keeping, backstock inventory control, scanner maintenance, housekeeping, and customer relations on the sales floor, including proficient suggestive selling. Secondary duties include related activities as required or assigned, with an emphasis on consumer education and suggestive selling. The employee must be available to work 35 or more hours per week, including nights and weekends, depending on department needs.

• Extensive knowledge of beers and craft beers.
• Knowledge of wine.

Responsibilities

• Order, stock, price, rotate, and merchandise beer and wine.
