About The Position

As a member of the Nordstrom Beauty Department and community, you will create personalized beauty experiences for customers and contribute to a passionate team. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and maximizing sales in luxury and on-trend beauty brands. Candidates should be passionate about beauty trends, makeup, and skincare, and able to build a customer following in-store and digitally.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
