Beauty Merchandising Associate, Boca Raton Town Center - Full Time
About The Position
The Beauty Merchandising Associate supports an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining sales-floor merchandising, merchandise execution, and the visual and operational standards of the Beauty department. Key work includes updating displays, organizing the stockroom, replenishing merchandise, and carrying out Gift with Purchase and Purchase with Purchase promotions, the Open Sell concept, and the Trend Recycling Program. Customer service remains the top priority, and merchandising tasks should be paused to assist customers. The role requires flexibility in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to move between tasks and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Strong merchandising or visual skills and creativity.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute to a team.
- Self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Ability to switch efficiently between tasks as directed by supervisors while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Comfort communicating and sharing information with diverse customers and peers.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
- Ability to perform frequent standing, moving, reaching with arms and hands, and tasks requiring color vision.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, prioritize their needs, respond promptly and professionally, and guide them to appropriate products.
- Collaborate with store leadership and colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Maintain working knowledge of merchandise in open-sell areas and key items across the department to answer customer questions and support sales.
- Install fixture and product display updates promptly and according to guidelines.
- Manage the Beauty Department’s Trend Recycling Collateral Program according to established procedures.
- Organize the stockroom and perform front-of-house tasks, including merchandise placement, fixture adjustments, and replenishment.
- Keep the department clean and organized, including maintaining tester stations, cleaning fixtures, and restocking supplies.
- Monitor and maintain merchandise presentation in open-sell and multi-branded areas according to department standards.
- Support Gift With Purchase and Purchase With Purchase events, including pre-sale pickups and promotional-material organization.
- Execute the Dispose In Field process according to company standards, including proper waste disposal and handling of hazardous materials in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Participate in physical inventory and execute shortage-prevention initiatives.
- Follow Asset Protection, inventory-control, and compliance procedures.
- Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
