About The Position

The Beauty Counter Manager in Nordstrom’s Beauty Department plays a dual role as salesperson and teacher, maximizing sales for the assigned beauty brand while creating personalized beauty experiences. The role involves helping customers meet their beauty goals, building a customer following both in-store and digitally, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive team environment. The position is for Dior at Town Center at Boca Raton.

Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head; regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize business results.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Keep up with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and luxury brand partner trainings.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
