Beauty Merchandising Associate, Boca Raton Town Center - Full Time
About The Position
The Beauty Merchandiser helps deliver an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining effective sales-floor merchandising, executing merchandise standards, and supporting visual and operational needs in the Beauty department. Core tasks include updating displays, maintaining fixtures and tester stations, organizing the stockroom, replenishing merchandise, and supporting Gift with Purchase and Purchase with Purchase promotions, the Open Sell concept, and the Trend Recycling Program. Customer service is the top priority, and merchandising tasks should be paused to assist customers. The role requires flexibility in a fast-paced environment and availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week, with hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability. The position involves frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Requirements
- Strong merchandising or visual skills and creativity.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Ability to switch efficiently between tasks as directed by supervisors while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.

- Color vision and ability to reach above eye level.
- Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, address their requests promptly and professionally, and guide them to appropriate products when helpful.
- Work with store leadership and colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Maintain working knowledge of merchandise in open-sell areas and key department items to answer customer questions and support sales.
- Install fixture and product display updates promptly according to guidelines.
- Manage the Beauty Department’s Trend Recycling Collateral Program according to established procedures.
- Organize the stockroom and complete front-of-house tasks, including merchandise placement, fixture adjustments, and replenishment.
- Keep the department clean and organized by maintaining tester stations, cleaning fixtures, and restocking supplies.
- Monitor and maintain merchandise presentation standards in open-sell and multi-branded areas.
- Support Gift With Purchase and Purchase With Purchase events, including pre-sale pickups and organizing promotional materials.
- Execute the Dispose In Field process according to company standards, including proper waste disposal and handling of hazardous materials under state and local regulations.
- Participate in physical inventory and execute shortage-prevention initiatives.
- Follow Asset Protection, inventory-control, and compliance procedures.
- Promote acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
