About The Position

The Beauty Merchandising Associate supports an exceptional shopping experience by maintaining visual and operational standards in the Beauty department. The role focuses on display updates, merchandise execution, stockroom organization, replenishment, and promotional programs, while customer service remains the top priority. Colleagues are expected to pause merchandising tasks to assist customers and respond to their needs. The position requires flexibility in a fast-paced environment, including availability for various shifts and dependable attendance.

Requirements

• Strong merchandising or visual skills and creativity.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Resourcefulness, initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute to a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing customer expectations and needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, address their needs promptly and professionally, and guide them to appropriate products.
• Work with store leadership and colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise in open-sell areas and key department products to answer customer questions and support sales.
• Install fixture and product display updates promptly and according to guidelines.
• Manage the Beauty Department’s Trend Recycling Collateral Program according to established procedures.
• Organize the stockroom and complete front-of-house work, including merchandise placement, fixture adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the department clean and organized by maintaining tester stations, cleaning fixtures, and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and maintain merchandise presentation in open-sell and multi-branded areas.
• Support Gift With Purchase and Purchase With Purchase events, including pre-sale pickups and promotional-material organization.
• Follow the Dispose In Field process, including proper waste disposal and handling hazardous materials under state and local regulations.
• Participate in physical inventory and carry out shortage-prevention initiatives.
• Follow Asset Protection, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Foster acceptance and respect, building authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
