Merchandising Support Associate - Moncler, Part Time - South Coast Plaza
About The Position
A Bloomingdale’s Merchandiser Professional supports store operations by creating a neat, clean, organized, and engaging shopping experience. The role involves merchandising product on the sales floor, organizing merchandise for events, executing markdowns, returns-to-vendors, re-ticketing projects, replenishment, and damage processing. It also supports organized product presentation and easy-to-navigate back-of-house stockrooms. The position calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. Colleagues are also expected to greet and welcome customers on the selling floor and handle all aspects of the merchandise journey. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal and communication skills, resourcefulness, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A flexible schedule is required, including retail hours that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include prolonged standing and walking, possible reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision, and ladder climbing, frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment, and frequently lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
