About The Position

The Beauty Lead provides customers with a personalized beauty shopping experience by applying product knowledge and the Connect, Inspire, Engage service model. The role focuses on driving sales and delivering customer service while supporting consistent department operations. The Beauty Lead also assists with beauty promotions and events, product replenishment and presentation, inventory processes, and onboarding and training store associates on beauty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers, identify their needs, and support buying decisions by sharing product knowledge, offering product application demonstrations and techniques, and recommending additional products.
• Meet or exceed performance, productivity, and sales standards and goals.
• Build customer loyalty by promoting FindMore, gift cards, rewards and credit programs, promotions, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Resolve customer concerns by listening professionally and providing options, solutions, and next steps.
• Perform point-of-sale tasks, including sales, returns, exchanges, line management, re-ticketing, and return processing.
• Facilitate beauty department promotions and events and assist leaders in meeting standards and goals.
• Replenish products from shipments, stockrooms, and understock; manage product testers; and maintain organized, clean, hygienic sales floors that meet core standards.
• Prepare for inventory processes, including cycle counts, stock ledger updates, RFID scans, and annual inventory.
• Assist the operations team with pricing, signing, and merchandising processes and standards.
• Help onboard and train or cross-train store associates on beauty procedures and processes.
• Participate in ongoing skills development through company- or vendor-provided training and practice.
