About The Position

The Beauty Lead provides customers with a personalized shopping experience by using beauty product knowledge and the Connect, Inspire, Engage service model. The role focuses on driving sales and customer service while maintaining consistent general operations. The Beauty Lead also supports beauty promotions and events, product replenishment and presentation, inventory processes, and the onboarding and development of store associates.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers, determine their needs, and support buying decisions by sharing product knowledge, demonstrating product application, and recommending techniques and additional products.
• Prioritize performance and productivity standards, metrics, and sales goals.
• Promote customer loyalty through service and the FindMore, Gift Card, Rewards, and Credit Programs, along with promotions and cross-selling opportunities.
• Listen to customer concerns and provide professional options, solutions, and next steps.
• Perform point-of-sale tasks, including sales, returns, exchanges, line management, re-ticketing, and return processing.
• Support beauty department promotions and events and help leaders meet standards and goals.
• Replenish products from shipments, stockrooms, and understock; manage product testers; and maintain organized, clean, and hygienic sales-floor conditions through recovery processes.
• Prepare for inventory activities, including cycle counts, stock ledger updates, RFID scans, and annual inventory.
• Assist the operations team with pricing, signing, and merchandising processes and standards.
• Help onboard and train or cross-train store associates on beauty procedures and processes.
• Participate in ongoing skills development through company- or vendor-provided training and skills practice.
