About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring Beauty Counter Managers for a range of beauty brands. In the Beauty Department, the role creates personalized beauty experiences and contributes to a passionate, inclusive team. The Beauty Counter Manager combines sales and teaching, maximizing sales for an assigned brand while building an in-store and digital customer following. The position is results-oriented and operates in a commissioned sales environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize business results.
Keep the department organized, clean, and ready for customers.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and luxury brand partner training.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
