About The Position

The Beauty Counter Manager works in Nordstrom’s Beauty Department and plays a dual role as a salesperson and teacher, maximizing sales for the assigned beauty brand. The role creates personalized beauty experiences, builds an in-store and digital customer following, and contributes to a passionate, inclusive team environment. The position involves commissioned sales and may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize business results.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and luxury brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
