The role is physically active and fast-paced, involving cashier duties, customer service, stocking, and cleaning. Responsibilities include operating a cash register, meeting customer service expectations, interacting with customers regarding a loyalty program, unpacking, sorting, stocking, and recovering merchandise. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during high-volume sales events, with the ability to shift between departments as business needs change. The position is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. It adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. The associate may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to interact and engage with customers around Customer Loyalty Program.
- Capability of multi-tasking and handling interruptions while trying to complete tasks.
- Ability to cover multiple responsibilities with limited staffing.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities
- Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.

- Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
- Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
