About The Position

As a Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you’ll welcome clients with warmth and confidence and help them explore beauty through personalized consultations and expert product recommendations. You’ll provide product education and relevant advice, support sales goals and key performance indicators, and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, safe, and welcoming shopping environment. This is a part-time, hourly position at the Knoxville store. Part-time employees are expected to work 15–29 hours per week and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and share product knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for 15–29 hours per week, including peak retail operations, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences and consultations tailored to each client’s needs.
• Recommend products and share expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
• Keep up with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Work toward and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store environment.
• Promote an inclusive, open, and collaborative team culture.
• Follow company policies and help maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours, and demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
