About The Position

Attensi, a global company specializing in gamified simulation training, is seeking a motivated, ambitious, and hands-on BDR Team Lead to establish and scale its outbound business development practice in the US. This role is a unique opportunity to be among the first dedicated BDR hires in Boston, contributing to the company's rapid growth and expansion in North America. The primary focus is to build a strong, repeatable BDR practice by initially taking a hands-on approach to account research, prospecting, messaging testing, and meeting booking. As the function grows, the Team Lead will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team. The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enablement teams to generate quality pipeline and support commercial ambitions. The role reports to the Sales Leader in the US and works with global BDR leadership to scale processes and ensure new hires are effective.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, SDR/BDR or a similar commercial role, ideally within SaaS, technology or a high-growth B2B environment.
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring or coaching SDRs/BDRs, or clear evidence of leadership potential within a business development function.
  • Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, account-based outreach, qualification and pipeline creation.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Experience using data and reporting to improve team performance and conversion.
  • Comfortable working across international teams and adapting proven strategies to local markets.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

  • Experience hiring, onboarding or ramping new sales talent is a strong plus.
  • Additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a strong outbound BDR practice for Attensi in the US market, building on the proven approach already working in London.
  • Take a hands-on role in outbound prospecting, including account research, personalised outreach, calling, sequencing and booking qualified discovery meetings.
  • Test and refine messaging, targeting and outreach approaches to understand what resonates with US prospects across key industries.
  • Build quality pipeline by identifying and engaging target accounts, personas and buying committees.
  • Work closely with Business Development Directors to align on priority accounts, qualification criteria and handover quality.
  • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene and ensure accurate tracking of prospecting activity, qualification notes and pipeline progression.
  • Share learnings with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations to improve campaigns, conversion and outbound effectiveness.
  • Help define best practice for the US BDR motion, including outreach standards, messaging frameworks, qualification approach and reporting.
  • Act as a role model for future BDR hires by setting a high bar for activity, quality, curiosity and commercial discipline.
  • As the function grows, support recruitment, onboarding and development of new BDR team members.
  • Coach and support future hires by sharing proven approaches, reviewing outreach and helping them ramp successfully.
  • Contribute to a positive, ambitious and high-performance BDR culture in Boston.
