About The Position

BDC Service Representative Do you enjoy talking to people? Asking questions? Helping someone in ways they don't expect? Apply to join our new BDC Service team at Jim Shorkey North Huntingdon CDJR! We are looking for creative and engaging team members who enjoy speaking to people, are always up for a challenge, and enjoy a work environment that is both fun and highly productive. You do not need to have a background in the automotive industry, though it is preferred. We will consider those with and without experience, and we are prepared to train the right person who is looking to grow their skill set as a professional.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR
Pass a drug test and background check
Possess phone skills for both employee and customer phone calls
Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs.
Be organized, alert, professional and courteous
Be committed to 100% customer satisfaction
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel programs

Nice To Haves

Background in the automotive industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer internet leads from manufacturer and third-party websites.
Answer phone calls from customers looking to schedule service for their vehicle.
Continue to reach out to your existing customer base through phone, text, and email daily.
Contact existing store customers to see if they are interested in scheduling service maintenance.
Schedule appointments.
Verify appointments.
Make follow-up phone calls to confirm customers service expectations were exceeded.
Monitor and contact email and text leads.
Determine each customer's vehicle service needs and make appointments accordingly.
Learn, understand, and follow service call and email scripts.
Confirm and follow up on appointments via text or phone.
Ensure customers are completely satisfied.
Make daily follow up phone calls.
Work with customers over the phone, email and chat to assist customers regarding their vehicle and recall needs, making appointments for clients, handling desk calls, correspondences and attending to customers.
