About The Position

FRIENDS is looking for a dedicated and passionate BCBA to work with our adult clients, who are 21 and older. This position will be in the Behavioral Services Department of FRIENDS of Broomfield. You will work in collaboration and under the direction of the Director of Behavior Services, who is also a BCBA. In this position, you will provide in person centered services to our clients across various settings. We also provide telehealth services. You will provide frequent and effective supervision to the RBTs working with our clients. This position will also require you to manage your own caseload and schedule as well as provide effective and ethical applied behavior analysis services.

Requirements

  • Must have a certification in good standing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the BACB.
  • Able to supervise potential and current RBTs and BCaBAs in compliance with the BACB.
  • Have at least 12 consecutive months of experience in the IDD field providing direct services.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to drive to and from the FRIENDS building 5 days per week as well as to our clients that are all less than 30 minutes from the FRIENDS building.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Therap.
  • Follows the policies and procedures of FRIENDS.
  • Able to accept feedback, maintain a generally positive attitude, and follow the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts.
  • Ability and willingness to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to be Safety Care Core Certified, physically able to implement physical management safely, ethically, and accurately, and recertify annually with FRIENDS of Broomfield.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and ethical ABA services to clients enrolled in our program.
  • Be able to meet, consult, and work under the direction of the Director of Behavior Services.
  • Conduct an individualized behavioral assessment annually and/or as needed for each client on your caseload.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans annually and/or as needed.
  • Develop data tracking for each treatment plan in Therap for caregivers, staff members, providers, and RBTs working with the client.
  • Works cooperatively with the Director of Behavior Services, management, participants and their teams, and co-workers.
  • Provide professionally and ethical feedback and answers to the client and/or their team members when they bring questions and concerns to you.
  • Participate in IP and IDT meetings for each client in addition to FRIENDS administrative, behavior department, and staff meetings.
  • Supervise RBTs and BCaBAs that are serving your clients.
