About The Position

Gemma Services has an IBHS/ABA program operating out of our new Mt. Airy location. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in related field (psychology, education)
  • Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis-BCBA
  • Advanced coursework in applied behavior analysis and/or working with children with disabilities
  • Maintain BCBA Supervisor eligibility.
  • At least two years’ experience working as a team leader or consultant
  • Experience conducting FBA’s and creating Treatment Plan’s
  • Functional understanding of advanced ABA principles
  • Staff training experience
  • Must have BSL (PA Behavior Specialist License) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one (1) years’ experience providing behavioral consultation services including ABA principles.
  • In addition, the experience must include writing comprehensive treatment plans and FBAs utilizing ABA interventions.
  • Experience in providing oversight and behavioral technique training to direct care staff and families also required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing services under IBHS regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising the Behavior Consultant-ABA, Assistant Behavior Consultant-ABA, Behavior Health Technician-ABA, and monitoring compliance with adopted best practice standards/treatment models.
  • Provide child, caregivers, 1:1 staff support and BHT-ABA psychoeducation regarding the child’s diagnosis and learning style and behavioral interventions.
  • Provide guidance using knowledge of the current techniques proven to be effective with this population through the utilization of behavioral analytic principles and interventions.
  • Write, review, and revise the treatment plan in accordance with the Commonwealth IBHS regulations.
  • Review and update the Assessment; Utilize standardized assessment and screening tools.
  • Provides a minimum of 10 hours per week of Billable Services to assigned children, youth and young adults as illustrated by the following:
  • Cases will be assigned to ensure that the minimum billing requirement of 10 hours per week is met.
