About The Position

The Battery Marketer spends most of the day driving an assigned route and working directly with customers. The role delivers, stocks, and picks up batteries at customer locations, maintains battery stock, and provides reliable customer service. As a field representative for Factory Motor Parts, the employee builds customer relationships, shares information about battery products and their features and benefits, recommends other FMP products based on customer needs, and identifies opportunities to improve services. The job also involves handling battery cores and paperwork accurately, frequent lifting and loading, and safe use of manual handling equipment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be comfortable regularly lifting and moving batteries weighing up to 75 pounds using proper technique.
• Have a genuine customer-first attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts through reliable, consistent service.
• Deliver, stock, and pick up batteries at customer locations according to the established route schedule.
• Provide customers with information about battery offerings and marketing materials, including product features and benefits.
• Recommend other FMP products based on customer needs.
• Handle battery cores and paperwork accurately and according to company standards.
• Represent Factory Motor Parts professionally, safely, and reliably at every customer stop.
