About The Position

The Batch Coating Operator is responsible for maintaining the input of materials used to make company products and ensuring specialized mixing machinery produces the proper output and has an appropriate outward appearance for guests. The operator helps materials move smoothly through the coating process and adds value at each step. The role is in the Production - Batch department at Florikan ESA LLC's production operations in Bowling Green, Florida, and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a forklift or skidsteer.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Perform repetitive tasks at an even pace that promotes accuracy and quality.
• Complete each task before beginning a new one.
• Focus on details and perform work to a written standard.
• Accept and comply with safety and quality procedures and policies.
• Respect peers in a collaborative setting and respect supervisors.
• Adapt to changes in working situations and team environments.
• Give respectful and constructive feedback to further team and organizational goals.
• Demonstrate an active desire to learn about the tools and methods of the industry.
• Walk and stand for long periods.
• Lift materials weighing 50 pounds or less.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment for a full 12 hours.
• Work in an enclosed space.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand paperwork related to product creation.
• Replace needed materials in a timely manner.
• Communicate instructions to the coating team on how to build products.
• Receive and implement direction from supervisors.
• Coordinate movement of items through the coating department.
• Contact supervisors before problems occur.
• Perform brief machinery inspections and report findings to the maintenance department.
• Perform regularly assigned housekeeping duties within the department and occasionally in other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
