About The Position

Epic Piping is hiring a Coating Inspector to join its QA/QC team. The role supports quality assurance for painting and coating work across a range of national and global projects. The inspector verifies surface readiness, evaluates paint application and coating characteristics, reports defects throughout the coating process, and checks that completed products meet company procedures and client requirements. The position also requires compliance with applicable safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations. Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial or industrial painting.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• NACE Certification at Level 1, 2, or 3 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Provide assurance of the quality of paint application.
• Verify that surfaces are in suitable condition for painting.
• Use electronic tools to check paint thickness, color, and viscosity, and to check and evaluate corrosion.
• Report surface defects at the preparation stage, primary coat, intermediate coat, and final finish.
• Check and monitor painting-related work and ensure final products meet company procedures and client requirements.
